In regards with the issue of the stock photo:
(I trust this person since he/she has lots to share. If someone were to make this up, they wouldn't include as much details and links. Also, this information is consistent with what others point out as the problem.)
"Those stock photos cost money to use. "Royalty free" doesn't mean "completely free", it means pay a one time fee (not for access to the site or a monthly subscription fee, for the individual photo) to use the photo as many times as possible.

This is actually one of the slightly cheaper ones.
Considering the amount of stock images she used, a PV like JBF would have been very expensive to make... if she paid. She has not provided proof that she paid for the images (If I'm reading the nicopedia article about this scandal correctly, there are currently people engaged in talks with imagenavi.jp, others are currently contacting amana.jp and konami).
Furthermore, some sites have a "no modifications" (or in other words: cutting out the images and copy pasting them onto to drawings is a no-no) clause. If she has not paid, then those images are definitely not supposed to be used for commercial purposes (such as selling artbooks with the stock images or using stock images in commissions for CD covers).
"She got paid for doing things like the the JBF illustrations (sold in a bundled with the JBF Remix album), CD covers, cd insert images, and so forth. She also had another artbook out called findHer although yesterday Fullkawa-P said on his tumblr that the findHer books have stopped printing and he is offering refunds."
"Yes the PVs are free. However, if she did not pay for the stock images, it means that she CANNOT use them. Because the legality of those images are in question, Dixie and minato had to set their vids to private (read their statements here: yeheyuanstudio.com/?p=531, tolie618.blog63.fc2.com/blog-e…). To reiterate (because so many people in the forums do not appear to get this), 2ch did not set them to private, the composers did. The composers did not set them to private because 2ch threatened them. The composers set them to private because the legality of those images are in question.
Frankly, what would you guys prefer? For this issue to be out now so the Vocaloid-Ps can set them to private and have a chance to discuss with the companies OR for the companies to find out by themselves and force the Vocaloid-Ps to delete the videos? Because the truth would have been discovered eventually.
Her actions have placed them in very unfortunate positions. minato said on his blog that he is discussing with his labels about what to do with the profits he made from the magnet CDs. There are some people bugging Dixie about getting a refund for their JBF illustration and remix CDs.
If imagenavi, amana, etc., etc., decide that "yeah, we would like to be compensated for your use of our images", magnet and JBF as we know them are unlikely to return. minato and Dixie will need to either somehow get enough money to compensate those companies or find brand new artists to make the new title image/PV for their songs. And if they get new PVs, the future of all the current JBF/magnet covers with Yunomi's image/PV will not be very bright.
She also had some images for Akuno-P's OF Evil series book. The legality of those images have also been called into questioning. He's currently discussing this matter with various people. (mothy.blog39.fc2.com/blog-entr…) "

From her blog: yunomi.blog.shinobi.jp/Entry/1…
(loosely translated)
"To everyone,
I know that my past works have caused problems, so I offer my apologies.
I'm truly sorry.
To many Ps, fans, audiences, and those who have worried about me that sent me reports that were delayed, I'm sorry that I have to reply this way.
I'm taking in all your comments quietly.
Currently, I think there are many stories about what the truth is. There are false stories out there, but including those stories, I don't intend to have excuses for them either.
Right now people point out my careless behavior, the behavior responsible, and I'm ashamed of it and I'm regretting it very much.
Also, all the past productions, composers, companies, and all others involved are not involved, so please don't send reports about me to them.
As for other activities, I don't want to be an inconvenience for everybody, I'll take responsibility and decided to refrain from future activities.
Once more, I'm the one responsible for this. Please refrain from posting comments about me or my work on various composers' and companies' videos.
I'll apologize once more.
I'm very sorry.

**** This is not about yunomiP referencing; this is about yunomiP TRACING and SELLING the said "traced" works. Please put aside your biases about her being a great artist or a bad artist, and look carefully at the comparisons. The beginning evidences are weak (and stupid), but the evidences near the end are powerful.
As most of you know, yunomiP is famous for her 'Just Be Friends' and various other illustrations used in songs like 'Magnet.'
Recently, several people have found images that, they claim, yunomiP has traced.
They found images from stock sites and other non-stock images (other artist's art, picture of celebrity) that they claim yunomiP has traced. While this is probably started by people who are jealous of her, it does have some good accusations against her.
You can view the photos (evidence) here: blog.livedoor.jp/insidears/arc… (you have to scroll down a little, and there are more "evidence" after some comments.)
----------------------------------------------
REMINDER: Some of the photos are stock photos and some are not.
----------------------------------------------
They say she's plagiarizing because:
- She traced non-stock images from a fanbook
- She traced CD covers
This episode will be devastating to yunomiP's reputation, whether it's true or not; she's a pretty famous illustrator now, and this will bring people to question the originality/authenticity of her drawings. Her 'Just Be Friends' video is now being flooded with comments that accuse her of plagiarizing and is calling her a criminal.
Personally, I don't think it's as big of a deal as some people claim it to be, because yunomiP's mostly using stock photos - lots of illustrators use stock photos (though it almost looks like as if she's just tracing the images with a tablet and drawing them in her style....). These people are pretty much saying that anyone who uses stock photos are plagiarizers.
However, the fact that she might be tracing non-stock photos like the AGundam(?)DVD cover or another's artists' art is not helping her case.
*EDIT: After close inspection of the comparions, it does look like sh
e even traced the stock photos (not the stupid ones like balloons).
**EDIT: Turns out the stock images have to be paid for.
